The SARS-CoV-2 Neutralizing Antibody Rapid Test Cassette (Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) is a rapid immunochromatographic test designed for the qualitative detection of neutralizing antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 that block the interaction between the domain that binds the viral spike glycoprotein receptor (RBD) and cell surface receptor ACE2 in human serum, plasma or whole blood.
It is intended to be used as an aid in the identification of individuals with an adaptive immune response to SARS-CoV-2. This test should not be used to diagnose acute SARS-CoV-2 infection. The results indicate the detection of neutralizing SARS-CoV-2 antibodies.
Positive results indicate the presence of neutralizing SARS-CoV-2 antibodies. The new coronaviruses belong to the β genus. COVID-19 is an acute respiratory infectious disease.
